To this day I can recount very vividly powerful conversations with members of Brothers@, like Dariel Vasquez, that still echo in my heart… As an alum, I now walk stronger in who I am for the students that I teach and for the young men I mentor through Brothers@. What I gained from Brothers@ carried me through graduate school, and even now into my 8th year of teaching.

I have experienced firsthand the transformative impact Brothers@ has on individuals and the community. The program’s focus on fostering growth, both personally and professionally, has been a cornerstone of my journey. The connections I have made and the experiences I have had are truly life-changing. I truly enjoy the opportunity to give back and support students from Chicago in their pursuit of success... Brothers@TFI means the world to me and is a big part of who I am. Because of that, I want to help and do whatever I can to give back in the way B@TFI has for me. I just really want to spread Brothers@ and create a safe place here at Morehouse College for guys to be able to be vulnerable talk and also help each other out especially first-gen students.

I took on the responsibility of becoming a B@ Ambassador because I felt like I just had to stick with this program. It has helped me find schorlarships and get into college. It gave me a time and place to get what I had to do done.
